Bantham - February 2013

We met up at the Church House at Churchstow and then carried on to the cottages on Friday afternoon. A short stroll on the beach followed.

On Saturday we walked to Hope Cove and back, a slightly longer trip than anticipated as the coast path had fallen into the sea. We arrived in Hope Cove before the Hope & Anchor had opened and so carried on to the beach. Suitable refreshed we started back to watch the rugby. Andy and Neil bravely volunteered to get the menu from the Village Inn in Thurleston on the way back.

Totals: 14.52 km (9.1 miles) with 430 m (1411 feet) of ascent.
